Job Description

As a project manager, you are in charge of large and small teams of workers on construction sites in Belgium. It concerns projects within the following areas: tertiary building sector, private housing construction and industrial building construction.

You will be responsible for the study, preparation and daily management from A to Z. You optimize your projects both technically and financially and you will be supported by your colleagues, the project preparation team, and other internal services such as purchase. Your work is also hands on in case of an urgent need of material or tools.

You will have to maintain close contact with the client, subcontractors and suppliers and report the progress of the project in detail to the process owner within the division.

Your assignment will be for completely new projects as well for renovation of existing buildings / construction sites.

The contract is for a long period where we will assure you get the right support and resources to carry out your job correctly.

A job as Project Engineer at BFY:

Requirement

You have a technical degree with focus on either electricity or plumbing or HVAC or solar power or general construction or road building or any other technical degree.

Generally you have a strong knowledge and experience as a technician or site manager within the construction industry. In addition, you preferably have already some managerial or coordinating experience. You are flexible to move around various sites and you are communicative, stress-resistant and solution-oriented.

You must be in possession of an A1 document to be able to work in Belgium, which you can apply for in the country of origin.

You must have a driving license.
